Functional Architecture
Functionally, AgroClever consists of three modules:Field Works Module (Front Office) is realized on pocket PCs and includes the following functions: fields measurement, execution and control of agricultural operation, control over the crops quality. The module uses the satellite navigation technologies (GPS, GloNASS).
Production and budget planning, formation of agricultural technological charts and crop rotation are carried out in Planning and Analysis Module (Middle Office). Besides, the Module uses the business intelligence technologies, which enables the analysis at any production stage. The functions are realized on the workstations (PCs) of managers and employees, responsible for manufacturing process.
Resources Management Module (Back Office) solves the tasks of financial and management accounting, operational planning of enterprise activity, purchase and sale.
Due to the integration technologies, employed in the solution, it is possible to integrate it with information systems, already implemented at an enterprise (for instance, ERP-, book-keeping systems, etc.)
Technological Platform
The solution technological platform is a suit of the integrated modules supporting open standards, which simplifies implementation and support. The complex includes the mobile system platform, Oracle Database management system (DBMS), analytical system Oracle Business Intelligence Standard Edition One. Thus, the technological platform consists of all necessary components for activity organization of a distributed enterprise, using all advantages of Internet-technologies, industrial DBMS and up-to-date tools of information system integration.For geospatial data processing and representation, and also for GIS-applications work and information storage, Middle Office uses the product Oracle Spatial.
As an accounting system the solution uses Oracle JDEdwards Enterprise One – ERP-system with a number of functional modules for enterprise management. The choice of the present system is determined by the specialized Grower Management module, included in the system in addition to the standard management and production management units. Besides, the program belongs to the Oracle product line, that simplifies the integration with AgroClever’s other functional components.
