SITRONICS Information Technologies realized high-tech Data processing center for “SBERBANK OF RUSSIA” JSC in Ukraine

«SITRONICS Information Technologies, one of the leading suppliers of solutions, products and services in the field of information technologies in Eastern Europe and CIS countries, completed the project of creating a new Data processing center for “SBERBANK OF RUSSIA” JSC in Ukraine.
“Our bank is universal financial institution and provides full range of services to both corporate clients and natural persons. We obtained Data processing center (DPC) that complies with up-to-date standards and provides stable operation of critical processes and applications with high level of protection against exposures and redundancy of main systems. New DPC created by the specialists of SITRONICS IT will allow us to bring our services to the new level thus providing high standard of accessibility and quality of operations for clients and partners of the bank”, - noted Sergey Adamenko, Deputy Chairman of the Board of “SBERBANK OF RUSSIA” JSC in Ukraine.
Under the project the specialists of SITRONICS IT performed the whole complex of works of DPC creation, from designing to complex realization. The following systems were constructed: data processing and storage system, telecommunication infrastructure for connection of DPC nodes, as well as engineering infrastructure that provides continuous operation of all hardware. Redundancy of components allows to eliminate dead times of critical services and provide operation in 24х7х365 mode.
“Implemented solution will provide “SBERBANK OF RUSSIA” with resilience of IT infrastructure and decrease expenses for its maintenance, thus increasing efficiency of investments. The quality and elaborate realization of the project will allow to speed up the development of new services and increase reliability of servicing the bank’s clients”, - comments Sergey Tarasenko, General Director of SITRONICS IT Ukraine.
Since the bank cannot afford interrupting the operations, it was very important to provide the transfer of existing systems into new DPC without suspension of client servicing.
In the course of the project we conducted special preparation of premise for physical protection of information, including the complex of construction works, water, noise and vibration insulation, construction of floor panel and protective shielding. Due to detailed elaboration and modeling of works it became possible to realize DPC in shortest possible time – in 5 months. Work was conducted round-the-clock.
The basis for construction of new DPC was hardware and software of leading world manufactures - APC, CISCO, IBM, Emerson, R&M.
